Ayelén Mazzina is an Argentine political scientist and politician. She was born on September 7, 1989, in San Luis, Argentina. She is a member of the Justicialist Party and has been part of the Frente de Todos since 2019.

National government role
- From October 13, 2022, to December 10, 2023, Mazzina served as Argentina’s Minister of Women, Genders and Diversity in President Alberto Fernández’s cabinet. She took over after Elizabeth Gómez Alcorta, and the ministry was later abolished.

Provincial and local roles
- Before that, she was the Secretary of Women, Diversity and Equality of San Luis from December 12, 2019, to October 10, 2022, under Governor Alberto Rodríguez Saá. She helped organize key events and led changes to the province’s electoral law to align with federal gender parity rules.
- She also served as a member of the San Luis City Council and ran for a seat in Argentina’s National Chamber of Deputies in 2019 as part of the Frente de Todos list. She was the second candidate on the list, but the party did not win a seat.

Education and personal details
- Mazzina has a degree in political science from Universidad de la Punta and is pursuing a master's in public policy administration at the Catholic University of Córdoba.
- She is openly lesbian and goes by the nickname La Aye.
