Kokubunji Station is an interchange railway station in Kokubunji, Tokyo, Japan. It is operated by JR East and Seibu Railway and is served by the JR East Chūō Line (Rapid) as well as the Seibu Kokubunji Line and the Seibu Tamako Line. The JR East side has two island platforms serving four tracks and a staffed Midori no Madoguchi ticket office. The Seibu side has platforms for the Seibu Kokubunji Line and the Seibu Tamako Line, with one platform area dedicated to the Seibu lines. The JR East station opened on 11 April 1889. The Seibu Kokubunji Line opened on 21 December 1894, and the Seibu Tamako Line (originally the Tamako Railway) opened on 6 April 1928. Station numbers are JC16 for JR East, SK01 for the Seibu Kokubunji Line, and ST01 for the Seibu Tamako Line. In fiscal year 2019, JR East reported about 112,090 boarding passengers daily, while Seibu reported about 117,796 passengers daily. Address: 2-1-23 Honchō, Kokubunji-shi, Tokyo 185-0021, Japan.
