Costel Solomon, born 29 May 1959 in Bacău, Romania, is a former football player who mainly played as a defender and defensive midfielder. He is 1.77 meters tall.

He spent most of his club career with SC Bacău, making 261 league appearances and scoring 20 goals between 1978 and 1987. He also played for several other teams in Romania and abroad, including Știința Bacău, Victoria București, Ceahlăul Piatra Neamț, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Sektzia Ness Ziona, Speranța Nisporeni, and Hakoah Amidar Ramat Gan. Solomon earned one cap for Romania in 1981, coming on as a substitute at half-time in a 2–1 loss to Bulgaria in Bucharest.
