Aureonarius infucatus is a mushroom in the Cortinariaceae family. It belongs to the fungi kingdom (Fungi), division Basidiomycota, class Agaricomycetes, and order Agaricales. It was previously known as Cortinarius infucatus.

Description
- Cap: orangish, about 2.3–4.8 cm across
- Gills: adnate to notched, tan to yellowish
- Stem (stipe): about 5.2–7.5 cm long and 8–9 mm wide, light orangish; a cortina (veil) is usually present
- Spore print: rusty brown

Habitat and ecology
- Mycorrhizal with trees
- Found in mixed conifer forests of the Pacific Northwest
- Often at high elevations
- Fruiting season: autumn
