Au Ha (凹下) is a Hakka village in the northern part of Hong Kong’s New Territories. It sits on the south side of Sha Tau Kok Road (Wo Hang Section), between Fanling and Sha Tau Kok, north of Sheung Wo Hang and west of Ha Wo Hang. The name means “below the mountain pass” in Cantonese. Au Ha is a recognized village under the New Territories Small House Policy and is part of the Sha Tau Kok District Rural Committee. For elections, it is in the Sha Ta constituency, represented by Ko Wai-kei. Along with Ma Tseuk Leng (upper and lower), Yim Tso Ha, and Wu Shek Kok, Au Ha forms a yeuk, a mutual-aid alliance between villages.
