Deseret Management Corporation (DMC) is a private holding company based in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was founded in 1966 by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to own and manage the church’s for-profit media and related businesses. Today, most of DMC’s assets are media and communications brands.

DMC oversees divisions such as Deseret Digital Media, Deseret Media Companies, and the KSL Broadcast Division, and owns subsidiaries including Beneficial Financial Group, Bonneville International Corp., Deseret News, Deseret Book, Hawaii Reserves, and Temple Square Hospitality.

The company acts as the tax‑paying umbrella for entities affiliated with the LDS Church. Its board can include church leaders, such as the First Presidency, rotating members of the Quorum of the Twelve, and the Presiding Bishopric.

Headquartered in Salt Lake City, DMC’s leadership as of November 2023 includes President Jeff Simpson (replacing Keith B. McMullin), Chief Communications Officer Sheri Dew, Chief Financial Officer Kirby Brown, and Senior Vice Presidents Gary B. Porter, Aaron Sherinian, and David Pearce (General Counsel).
