Asashina, Nagano

Asashina (Asashina-mura) was a village in Kitasaku District, Nagano Prefecture, Japan. In 2003 it had about 6,423 residents living in 19.52 square kilometers, with a population density of about 329 people per square kilometer. On April 1, 2005, Asashina merged into the city of Saku and is now part of Saku.
