Glyptothorax armeniacus, or the Armenian mountain catfish, is a species of catfish in the family Sisoridae. It has a conservation status of Data Deficient (IUCN 3.1). It was described by Berg in 1918. Its scientific classification is: Kingdom Animalia; Phylum Chordata; Class Actinopterygii; Order Siluriformes; Family Sisoridae; Genus Glyptothorax; Species G. armeniacus. Synonyms include Glyptosternum armeniacum Berg, 1918 and Glyptosternum armeniacum Berg, 1918. This fish is endemic to southern and eastern Turkey, meaning it is found only there. There are no subspecies listed.
