Changes (Keni Burke album)
Changes is the third solo album by Keni Burke, who was a member of the Five Stairsteps. It was released in 1982 by RCA Records. The album was recorded from 1981 to 1982 at Sigma Sound Studio in Philadelphia and blends soul and funk. Produced by Keni Burke, Changes features the single “Risin’ to the Top,” which was released in 1982 and has been frequently sampled by other artists. In Burke’s solo discography, Changes comes after You’re the Best (1981) and before Nothin’ But Love (1998).
