Andrew Monteith (August 15, 1823 – February 1, 1896) was a Canadian businessman and Conservative politician in Ontario. Born in County Tyrone, Ireland, he moved with his family to Perth County in Upper Canada in 1834 and later lived in Stratford, where he worked with his brother who owned a store.

Monteith served on the Perth County council (1850–1865) and Stratford town council (1857–1861). He married Jane Dunsmore in 1850.

He was elected to the Ontario legislature representing Perth North in 1867 and served until 1874. In 1874, he was elected to the federal Parliament as a Conservative for Perth North, serving until 1878, when he resigned from politics.

Monteith died at his home in Downie Township in 1896 after a stroke. His sons John and Joseph were mayors of Stratford and served in the Ontario legislature; John’s election was later declared invalid on appeal. Monteith Township in Parry Sound District is named after him.
