Silverdale, Queensland
Silverdale is a rural area in the Scenic Rim Region of Queensland, Australia, located in the Fassifern Valley. In the 2021 census it had 112 residents.
Geography and access
- The western boundary is Warroolaba Creek and the eastern boundary is Warrill Creek, a Bremer River tributary.
- The Cunningham Highway runs through Silverdale from north (Warrill View) to south (Kalbar).
- Elevation ranges from about 60 to 210 metres above sea level.
- The land is mainly used for grazing on native vegetation.
- There are no named peaks in the area.
History
- Silverdale State School opened on 23 May 1910 and closed on 28 January 1963. It was located along the Cunningham Highway.
- The school’s former site is near 5382 Cunningham Highway.

- 2011: included in Munbilla for census purposes.
- 2016: population around 120.
- 2021: population 112.
