Nithya Mammen is an Indian playback singer born on 24 July 1997 in Doha, Qatar. She became famous with her debut song "Nee Himamazhayayi" from the Malayalam movie Edakkad Battalion 06. She won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer for "Vathikkalu Vellaripravu" from Sufiyum Sujathayum. Nithya grew up in Doha and later moved to Bangalore to study architecture at B.M.S. College of Engineering, where she also learned Hindustani classical music. She is married to Vivek Francis, who was her senior in college. Nithya released her first single "Kaathale" in January 2022. She is a judge on the singing reality show Top Singer and has been active in the industry since 2019.
