Andalò del Negro

Andalò del Negro (also Andalò di Negro) was a medieval Italian astronomer and geographer. He was born in Genoa around 1260 and died in Naples in 1334. In 1318 he joined the court of King Robert of Anjou in Genoa and spent the rest of his life at the Angevin court in Naples, where he became friends with Boccaccio.
