Anaís Álvarez
Anaís Alexandra Álvarez Portilla, born July 4, 2007 in Santiago, Chile, is a Chilean footballer who plays as a midfielder for Colo-Colo and the Chile women’s national team. A product of Colo-Colo’s youth system, she was promoted to the first team in 2023 and wears number 25. She is 1.54 meters tall.
She scored her first professional goal on the opening day of the 2023 season against Cobresal, and became the youngest player to debut in the 2023 Copa Libertadores Femenina in the 4–0 win over Libertad-Limpeño.
Internationally, Álvarez played for Chile’s under-17s in 2022, taking part in the South American Championship and the World Cup, where she was named the best player in Chile’s first match against New Zealand. She made her senior debut for Chile on September 23, 2023, in a 3–0 win over New Zealand in Santiago.
She was added to Chile’s squad for the 2023 Copa América Femenina after Javiera Grez withdrew with an injury; Chile won silver and Álvarez appeared in two games, recording an assist against Jamaica. In 2024 she was named to Chile’s squad for the South American U-17 Championship, and in 2025 she was named to the Copa América Femenina squad.
