Deakin Ducks Football Club is an amateur soccer club based in Geelong, Victoria. They run senior men’s teams in the Men’s State League 5 West and local men’s and women’s teams in the Geelong Football League.

Founded in 1978, a year after Deakin University opened its first campus.

In 2017, the Ducks’ men were promoted from Geelong Division 1 to State League 5 after success locally.

The club struggled to field teams in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2024, the men’s senior team won promotion to State League 4 for the 2025 season.

They play at the Deakin University Elite Sports Precinct at Waurn Ponds, an $8.1 million facility opened in 2016 with a synthetic pitch.

In 2017, the Chinese women’s national team trained at the Elite Sports Precinct ahead of a match against the Matildas.
