An Interview Between Charles I and Oliver Cromwell is a history painting by Irish artist Daniel Maclise, created in 1836. It shows King Charles I, with two of his children, handing over power to Oliver Cromwell. Charles was later executed in 1649, with Cromwell among those who signed his death warrant. The painting premiered at the Royal Academy Exhibition in 1836 at Somerset House, London, and it now belongs to the National Gallery of Ireland in Dublin, after being purchased in 1951. It is oil on canvas.
