Christina Stinnett
Christina "Kiki" Stinnett is a Micronesian women's rights activist and businesswoman. She is the President of the Chuuk Women's Council (CWC), which coordinates more than 60 women's groups in Chuuk State, in the Federated States of Micronesia.
Stinnett started Chuuk's first travel agency, Truk Travel Unlimited, in March 1984, and she owns the Truk Stop Hotel and the restaurant at Truk Lagoon Dive Center.
The Chuuk Women's Council was formed in the late 1980s to educate and empower women in leadership, education, health, and culture. Stinnett remains the President of the CWC.
She also serves on the boards of the Chuuk Conservation Society and the Chuuk State Board of Education, and on the FSM Women in Business Network, where she is Vice President of their NGO alliance.
In October 2014, she was invited to the 3rd FSM Women's Conference in Kolonia, Pohnpei. In 2011, she was named in the U.S. State Department's 100 Women in their 100 Years/100 Women campaign for International Women's Day. She has also been honored as one of Pacific Community's 70 Inspiring Pacific Women.
