Guðmundur Andri Thorsson (born 31 December 1957) is an Icelandic editor, critic, and writer. He earned a literature degree from the University of Iceland in 1983. He began as a literary critic in the 1980s. His first novel, Mín káta angist, was published in 1988, and he has published three more novels since then. He has written several essays that were collected into a book. In 2013, his novel Sæmd was nominated for the Icelandic Literary Prize.
