Alotus
Alotus is the thirteenth album by Finnish experimental rock band Circle, released in 2002. The 47-minute album was issued on Klangbad, with Hans Joachim Irmler, a founder of Faust, as producer and co-arranger. The release strengthened Circle’s partnership with Irmler. In performances around that time, vocalist Mika Rättö often wore a T-shirt featuring Faust’s first album cover. The track “Northern Sky” later appeared on the 2002 Klangbad compilation First Steps. Although Tomi Leppänen and Janne Westerlund aren’t credited as players on the album, they do appear in the band photo in the liner notes.
