Chor Hooi Yee
Chor Hooi Yee (born 4 May 1979) is a former Malaysian badminton player who played mainly in women's doubles and mixed doubles. She is 1.54 meters tall and plays right-handed.
Her highlights include a silver medal in women’s doubles at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, partnering with Lim Pek Siah. She also helped Malaysia win silver in the women’s team event at the same Games. In the 1999 Southeast Asian Games in Bandar Seri Begawan, she won gold in mixed doubles with Chew Choon Eng. Earlier in her career, she competed in the 1997 Asian Junior Championships in Manila (girls’ doubles) and was part of the Malaysia women’s team at the 1995 Chiang Mai events, as well as competing in mixed doubles at the 1999 Bandar Seri Begawan games.
Chor left the Badminton Association of Malaysia in 2001 due to injuries and studies, and returned to the national squad in 2004. She studied business at HELP University and now serves as an executive committee member of the Cheras club.
