Alive in Oslo
Alive in Oslo is a live album by Australian unblack metal band Horde, released in April 2007 by Veridon Music. It captures a concert recorded on 3 November 2006 at the Nordic Festival in Oslo, Norway. The performance runs 36 minutes and 3 seconds and was produced by Jayson Sherlock. This release sits in Horde’s discography after the 1994 studio album Hellig Usvart, and its full title is The Day of Total Armageddon Holocaust – Alive in Oslo.
During the show, almost all of Horde’s material is played, with three songs not performed: Drink From the Chalice of Blood, Weak, Feeble, Dying Antichrist, and Mine Heart Doth Beseech Thee (O Master). The release also includes a bonus DVD with video footage of the concert.
Three tracks from the live album later appeared as bonus songs on the 2008 remastered edition of Hellig Usvart, released by Metal Mind Productions.
Guest performers on the album include Simon Rosén from Crimson Moonlight, and Håvar Wormdahl, Bengt Olsson, and Karl Fredrik Lind from Drottnar, joining Horde alongside founder Jayson Sherlock. All songs are credited to Anonymous (Jayson Sherlock).
