2025–26 European Aquatics Champions League group stage
The group stage of the 2025–26 European Aquatics Champions League is a water polo competition held from 14 October to 11 December. Sixteen teams are divided into four groups of four. Each group plays a double round-robin (home and away), and the top two teams from each group advance to the quarter-finals.
Scoring and tiebreaks: A win earns 3 points, a win in a penalty shootout earns 2 points, a shootout loss earns 1 point, and a loss earns 0 points. If teams are tied on points, tiebreakers are used in a predefined order to determine rankings.
Draw and seedings: The group stage draw took place on 28 July 2025 in Zagreb, Croatia. Seeding was based on the clubs’ rankings, with the rule that clubs from the same country could not be drawn against each other. The six teams coming from the qualifying rounds were not known at the time of the draw and could not be drawn into the same group.
Matches and goals: A total of 40 matches were played, with 1,059 goals scored (about 26.5 per match).
