Lecrín is a small municipality in the province of Granada, Spain. It covers about 40 square kilometers and has around 2,244 residents (as of January 2025), with a density of about 56 people per square kilometer. The municipality was formed in 1970 and is made up of six areas: Mondújar, Talará, Béznar, Acequias, Chite, and Murchas. Lecrín sits at roughly 36.95°N, 3.55°W and uses Central European Time (UTC+1), with daylight saving time (UTC+2) in summer.
