Alex Rider: Stormbreaker refers to two video games based on the 2006 film Stormbreaker (which was adapted from the 2000 novel). They released in 2006 for Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance, with the UK release on July 7 and the US release on September 25. The DS game was part of a film marketing deal and had prominent DS branding.

The Game Boy Advance version is an overhead action/stealth game where you control Alex, and at one point his uncle Ian. As you play, Alex gains gadgets needed to complete missions. The game also includes mini-games by inventor Smithers and an MI6 training camp mode to test your skills.

The games drew negative reviews. Pocket Gamer said it wasn’t good enough. Metacritic gave about 48/100 based on 11 reviews. Nintendo Power criticized the basic gameplay as flawed, and IGN gave it 4/10.
