Action Replay is a six-song EP by English synth-pop musician Howard Jones, released in 1986. It came out only in the United States and Canada to promote the US single version of “No One Is to Blame.” The release also includes tracks that were previously only available in the UK and several extended remixes. Action Replay was a big hit in North America and was popular as an import in Europe. The EP was recorded at Farmyard studio in Little Chalfont, Buckinghamshire, and released on the Elektra label. All songs were written by Howard Jones. Producers include Rupert Hine (tracks 2–4 and 6), Phil Collins and Hugh Padgham (track 1), and Howard Jones (track 5). It sits in Jones’s discography after Dream into Action (1985) and before One to One (1986). Action Replay was remastered and released on CD in 2011.
