Autopax is a South African company that runs long-distance intercity and charter bus services. It is wholly owned by the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) and operates two brands, Translux and City-to-City, using luxury and semi-luxury coaches for trips within South Africa and across Southern Africa.

The company traces its origins to the old South African Road Transport Services, which offered Translux and Transtate. In the 1990s, it joined Autonet, a Transnet division. Autonet was later renamed Autopax Passenger Services (Pty) Ltd and became part of PRASA when PRASA was formed in March 2009.

In addition to passenger buses, Autopax provides emergency bus services for PRASA Rail and has run commuter buses in Gauteng for the provincial Department of Transport since July 2015 (contract extended to March 2017).

Key details: CEO is Nathi Khena, about 1,629 employees (2016), headquartered in South Africa, serving South Africa and Southern Africa.
