Acacia spectabilis
Acacia spectabilis, commonly known as Mudgee wattle, is a shrub native to Australia. It grows upright or spreading to about 1.5–4 metres tall and has compound pinnate leaves.
Bright yellow, globe-shaped flower heads appear in the leaf axils mainly from July to November. After flowering, it produces slender, leathery pods about 4–17 cm long and 10–19 mm wide. The plant naturally occurs in dry sclerophyll forests and heathland in New South Wales and Queensland and is also commonly grown in gardens. Its conservation status is Least Concern.
