Plinia oblongata, commonly known as jaboticaba azeda or sour jabuticaba, is a plant in the myrtle family (Myrtaceae). It is native to southeastern Brazil. The tree grows to about 4–6 meters tall and produces dark-purple, acidic but edible fruit. The fruit measures about 25–30 mm in diameter.
