Triller, Inc. is an American private company focused on online video, social media, and combat sports. It owns the Triller short‑form video app, which launched in 2015 in Los Angeles, and it runs Triller TV. The company also operates several subsidiaries, including BKFC (Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship), Flipps Media, and Thuzio.

Key people include Mike Lu (President), Mahi de Silva (CEO), and Lauren Braun Diamont (VP of Content & Strategy). Triller has grown through acquisitions and partnerships, expanding beyond a social app into live events and media rights.

Notable milestones include Trillerfest, a three‑day streaming music festival in April 2020 to support No Kid Hungry and MusiCares during the pandemic. In March 2021, Triller acquired Verzuz, and in 2021 it expanded its sports and media footprint by partnering with Big3, buying FITE TV and Amplify.at, and acquiring Thuzio. In late 2021, Triller announced plans to merge with SeaChange International to go public, with the merged company to be named TrillerVerz Company, but in June 2022 the deal was scrapped in favor of an independent IPO path.

Triller also moved into boxing, acquiring a majority stake in BKFC in February 2022 and partnering with Mike Tyson’s Legends Only League in 2020 to distribute the Tyson–Jones exhibition, a pay‑per‑view event that drew significant attention. The Triller Fight Club launched in December 2020, with its first card in April 2021 headlined by Jake Paul vs. Ben Askren and featuring various musical performances; attendance was limited to create a premium, “four‑quadrant” experience.

There have been multiple legal disputes, including lawsuits over distribution rights and intellectual property related to TFC and Verzuz. In August 2022, Swizz Beatz and Timbaland sued Triller over Verzuz purchases; the case was settled by September 2022, and Verzuz was later reacquired by Swizz Beatz and Timbaland in 2024 with a partnership involving Twitter.
