Aage William Søgaard (29 December 1933 – 4 May 2010) was a Norwegian trade unionist and Labour Party politician. He was born in Nes and left school with modest education, working as a repairman at Hedmark Tørrmelk in Brumunddal from 1955 to 1966. In the local union branch 98 of the Norwegian Union of Food, Beverage and Allied Workers, he was treasurer (1957–1964) and chairman (1964–1967). From 1966 to 1982 he was secretary for the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions in Hedmark. He then held senior roles in Arbeidernes Opplysningsforbund from 1982 to 1999. Politically, he served on Ringsaker Municipal Council (1963–1967) and was a deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Hedmark (1969–1973), acting as a regular representative (1971–1972) while Odvar Nordli served in Bratteli's First Cabinet. He also worked on the Protocol Committee, school boards, and various regional and national boards, including the Labour Inspection Authority and Norwegian People's Aid, where he chaired the regional board from 1971 and was deputy nationwide (1979–1983). He was a supervisory council member of the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions (1967–1981) and a long-time board member of Arbeiderbevegelsens Folkehøgskole (1967–1997). In sports, he led Brumunddal IL's speed skating section (1971–1975) and Brumunddal CK curling (1978–1981).
