Plot
A cloaked kung-fu expert arrives in town and easily humiliates local masters with his powerful skills. He meets a humble master and his three eager students, then continues his arrogant mission, leaving more masters shamed. The defeated master loses face, so his three pupils swear to seek revenge. They split up to find worthy teachers: one meets an eccentric Crane style master who teaches him Crane moves; another learns legwork from a bean curd seller and her blind father; the third learns pole fighting from a fisherman after a failed attempt to steal his fish. Meanwhile, the original master trains and sharpens his swordplay. Ready with their new skills, the four students prepare to face the intruder.
