Terence Reese bibliography
Terence Reese (1913–1996) was a British bridge player and writer. He is regarded as one of the best players and one of the most influential and sharp-witted bridge writers, with many books that remain classics of the game. He was a long-time bridge correspondent for The Lady, The Observer, the London Evening News and the Evening Standard. In a 2007 ACBL expert survey, his works were ranked among the top ten favourite bridge books, reaching No. 1 on some lists and No. 10 on others. In the preface to the 1984 Hale printing, Reese noted his disagreement with spelling, idiom and vocabulary changes in Coffin printings. His bibliography includes Master Play (also published as Master Play in Contract Bridge); Dover’s 1972 edition Bidding a Bridge Hand; and Develop Your Bidding Judgement (1962). He also wrote a novel.
