The 2022 FilBasket Summer Championship, officially the Puregold – FilBasket 2022 Summer Championship, was FilBasket’s second tournament and its first professional league. It took place in the Philippines from March 18 to May 8, 2022.

Twelve teams competed, including 11 Filipino teams and Kuala Lumpur Aseel from Malaysia, making this the league’s first international club. Games were held in multiple cities—San Jose del Monte in Bulacan, Quezon City, and Muntinlupa, which hosted the Finals at the Muntinlupa Sports Center.

Format and schedule
- Each team played 11 games in a single round-robin.
- The top eight teams advanced to the playoffs, which started on April 25.
- Quarterfinals gave the top three teams a twice-to-beat advantage (they needed one win; their opponents needed two).
- The 4 vs 5 seed was a single-game matchup.
- Semifinals and Finals were best-of-three series.

Champions and runners-up
- Champions: Nueva Ecija Capitals
- Runners-up: San Juan Knights
- Semifinalists: All-Star Bacolod Ballers and Tanduay Rum Masters

The Finals sparked a rivalry between Nueva Ecija and San Juan that continued in other leagues.
