Halcyon Days is the second EP by the English punk band Sounds of Swami, released in 2009. After the success of their Vent EP, they planned an album but made a one-off hardcore punk release instead. The six tracks include three written in one session and show a stronger hardcore influence. They were inspired by Bad Brains, Minor Threat, Black Flag, Gorilla Biscuits and Dead Kennedys. They talked to TNSrecords about the project, and it was released on 7-inch vinyl and as a digital download on iTunes, a first for the band. The EP got rave reviews in the underground punk scene and helped the band gain attention in mainland Europe. The record lasts about 8 minutes 34 seconds and was produced by Luke Yates.
