IATEUR, or the Institute of Regional Planning, Environment and Urban Development at the University of Reims, is a teaching and research unit of the university. It was founded in 1971 by geographer Roger Brunet. The institute focuses on planning, development and the environment to promote sustainable urban development and preserve heritage.
