The 2022 African Men's Handball Championship took place in Egypt from July 11 to July 18, 2022. It was the 25th edition and also served as the African qualifying tournament for the 2023 World Men's Handball Championship in Poland and Sweden. The event was originally scheduled to be held in Morocco in January 2022 but was postponed after protests; in March 2022, Egypt was chosen as the new host.
