The Greatest Hits – Volume 2: 20 More Good Vibrations
The Greatest Hits – Volume 2: 20 More Good Vibrations is a Beach Boys compilation released on September 21, 1999 by Capitol Records. It goes with The Greatest Hits – Volume 1, which came out the same day, and brings back early favorites that weren’t on Volume 1, such as In My Room and Don’t Worry Baby, plus songs from 1967–1970 like Heroes and Villains and Cottonfields (the latter produced by Al Jardine).
Production credits on a few tracks were updated: Heroes and Villains, Wild Honey, Darlin’, and Friends are now listed as produced by Brian Wilson rather than the group. In March 2000 the album reached No. 192 on the U.S. chart after the ABC TV movie The Beach Boys: An American Family aired. All songs are by Brian Wilson and Mike Love, unless noted, and most tracks are mono single mixes, unless otherwise noted.
