1996 Schweppes Tasmanian International – Doubles

At the 1996 Schweppes Tasmanian International in Hobart, Yayuk Basuki and Kyōko Nagatsuka won the doubles title. The defending champions were Nagatsuka and Ai Sugiyama, but Sugiyama did not compete that year, so Nagatsuka teamed up with Basuki. They beat Kerry-Anne Guse and Sung-Hee Park in the final, 7–6, 6–3. The event drew 16 teams with 4 seeded pairs.
