Josephine Matley Duddle (1890–1981) was an English painter and illustrator. She studied at the Manchester School of Art, where she met her husband, cartoonist and painter David Louis Ghilchik. They married in 1915. Josephine was known for postcards showing children and fairies, mainly produced between World War I and World War II. She belonged to the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and the Society of Women Artists and usually signed her paintings as 'Josephine Ghilchik'. She also wrote and illustrated two books: One, Two, Buckle My Shoe (1916) and Kittles of Toy Town (R. Tuck & Sons).

Her daughter Sybil Duddle Ghilchik, born 15 November 1920, became an opera singer with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company. Sybil married Irish tenor Terence O'Donoghue, another company member, and they settled in Sydney with their three children in 1956, as Terence joined the J. C. Williamson company. Terence died in 1984 in Sydney.

In 1980 Josephine moved to Sydney to be with Sybil and she died there in 1981.
