Men's 800 metres at the 1990 European Athletics Indoor Championships were held at Kelvin Hall in Glasgow, Scotland, on 3–4 March. In the heats, the top three runners in each heat and the next three fastest advanced to the semifinals. In the semifinals, the top two finishers in each race and the next two fastest advanced to the final. The final determined the medals.
