1971 French Open – Men's doubles
At the 1971 French Open in Paris, defending champions Ilie Năstase and Ion Țiriac withdrew from the men's doubles. Arthur Ashe and Marty Riessen won the title, beating Tom Gorman and Stan Smith in a five-set final, 6–8, 4–6, 6–3, 6–4, 11–9.
