2007 AF2 season
The 2007 AF2 season was the eighth season of the Arena Football 2 league. The regular season ran from March 30 to July 28, with the Rio Grande Valley Dorados finishing as regular-season champions. In the playoffs, the Tulsa Talons won ArenaCup VIII, defeating the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers 73–66 in Bossier City, Louisiana on August 25, 2007. Tulsa earned the National Conference title and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton the American Conference title. The Green Bay Blizzard were the American Conference runners-up, and the Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings were the National Conference runners-up. Attendance for the ArenaCup VIII game was 5,107 at the CenturyTel Center. Finals MVP was Ryan Vena (Tulsa). ArenaCup VIII MVPs included Offensive MVP Ryan Vena, Defensive MVP Delenell Reid, and Ironman MVP Jeff Hughley.
