Streptomyces koyangensis is a bacterium from the genus Streptomyces. It was found in radish soil in Koyang, Korea. It belongs to the domain Bacteria, the phylum Actinomycetota, the class Actinomycetes, the order Streptomycetales, and the family Streptomycetaceae. The species name is Streptomyces koyangensis, described by Lee and colleagues in 2005. Type strains include DSM 41864, JCM 14915, KCCM 10555, NBRC 100598, and VK-A60. This bacterium can produce an antifungal substance called 4-phenyl-3-butenoic acid.
