1941 in Canadian football
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers, after a rule dispute the previous year, were again allowed to challenge for the Grey Cup. They won the Grey Cup in a meeting of the champions from the last two years, sending the trophy west for the third time.
In the West, the Calgary Bronks left the Western Interprovincial Football Union (WIFU) and the Vancouver Grizzlies joined the league.
The Interprovincial Rugby Football Union (IRFU) was renamed the Eastern Canada Union for one season.
The Hamilton Tigers did not participate in the Eastern Canada Union because of World War II. Instead, the Toronto Balmy Beach Beachers of the ORFU joined. The Tigers would resume play in 1945.
The 29th Grey Cup Game was played at Varsity Stadium in Toronto, Ontario.
Note: At this time most players played both offense and defense, so All-Star selections did not distinguish between offensive and defensive positions.
