1941 South American Championship

The 16th South American Championship was held in Santiago, Chile, from February 2 to March 4. Chile hosted to celebrate the city’s 400th anniversary, and this edition is considered extra, so no trophy was awarded.

Five teams took part: Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Peru, and Uruguay. Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, and Paraguay withdrew. Each team played all others once. Wins earned 2 points, draws 1 point, and losses 0.
