2007–08 PBA Tour season
The 2007–08 PBA Tour was the Professional Bowlers Association’s 49th season. It ran from September 23, 2007, to March 30, 2008, and included 21 events. Chris Barnes was the season MVP. The season wrapped up with the Motel 6 Roll To Riches special on April 13, 2008, in Orlando, shown on ESPN. Six finalists—Doug Kent, Sean Rash, Michael Haugen Jr., Norm Duke, Parker Bohn III, and Chris Barnes—competed for a $150,000 winner-take-all prize in a unique format called the “race to six strikes.” Parker Bohn III won the final race against Norm Duke. Earnings from this event did not count toward PBA career totals.
