2022 World Ringette Championships

The 2022 World Ringette Championships was the 14th edition of the event and was held in Espoo, Finland, from October 31 to November 6, 2022. The Finnish President Sauli Niinistö served as patron. The main arena was Espoo Metro Areena, with additional games at Tapiola Arena, Matinkylä ice rink, Marli Areena in Turku, and Kisakallio Sport Institute in Lohja. Come Try Ringette activities were organized for schools and the public.

A total of seven teams competed across three divisions: the Senior Pool (Sam Jacks Pool), the Junior Pool (Under-21), and the President’s Pool (developing ringette nations). Slovakia did not participate. Two Finland U18 teams played exhibition games against Sweden and the USA. An international junior tournament, the International Ringette Festival 2022, ran from November 3–6 in Espoo with 16 teams from Canada, Finland, and Sweden, across U16, U14, and U12 divisions.

Results
- Senior Pool champions: Finland Senior (winning its 9th title); runners-up: Canada Senior. MVP: Susanna Tapani.
- Junior Pool champions: Finland Junior U21 (winning its 2nd title); runners-up: Canada Junior U21. MVP: Minka Tiihonen.
- President’s Pool champions: United States Senior (winning its first title); runners-up: Sweden Senior; third place: Czech Republic Senior.

This event marked the first World Ringette Championships since 2021, which were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
