120 Days
120 Days was a Norwegian rock band from Kristiansund, formed in 2001 as The Beautiful People. The members were Ådne Meisfjord, Kjetil Ovesen, Jonas Hestvik Dahl, and Arne Kvalvik. They changed their name to 120 Days, inspired by Marquis de Sade’s 120 Days of Sodom, and moved to Oslo in 2002. After releasing two EPs on Public Demand, they signed with Smalltown Supersound (and later released music on Vice Recordings). Their debut album, 120 Days, came out on 10 October 2006 and received positive reviews in North America; they toured the United States soon after. In 2008 they began working on new material after extensive touring in the U.S. and Europe. On 7 June 2012, the band announced they would end later that year, after nearly 11 years together; the final concert was in September 2012.
