Tach Armachiho is a district (woreda) in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia, located in the Semien Gondar Zone. It is named after Armachiho, a historic province near the Sudan border, just south of the Tekezé River. The woreda is bordered by Lay Armachiho and Chilga to the south, Metemma to the southwest, Mirab Armachiho to the west, Tegeda to the north, Dabat to the east, and Wegera to the southeast. It used to be part of the former Sanja woreda.

Covering about 2,710 square kilometers, Tach Armachiho had an estimated population of 97,824 in 2012, with a density of around 36 people per square kilometer. In 2007, the census recorded 89,115 residents, including 12,258 urban inhabitants (about 13.8%). The community is predominantly Ethiopian Orthodox Christian (about 97.8%), with around 1.4% of the population practicing Islam.
