René D. Kemp
René D. Kemp (July 15, 1935 – February 4, 2006) was an American Democratic politician from Georgia. Born in Savannah, he attended the University of Georgia. Kemp served in the Georgia House of Representatives for the 139th district from 1977 to 1983, after which James C. Moore succeeded him. He then served in the Georgia State Senate for the 3rd district from 1993 to 2004, followed by Jeff Chapman. He had one child. Kemp died in Savannah on February 4, 2006, at age 70.
